Objective

Develop and execute a strong, consistent marketing strategy for both new and existing in-house products launched in the Tanzanian market.


1. What Do We Want Done for Each Product?

Each product should have:

  • A unique, clear, and consistent marketing identity.
  • A presence across key social media and online platforms.
  • A measurable growth plan focused on visibility, engagement, and user acquisition.

2. Initial Move — Product Launch

The first step is to officially launch each product on relevant digital platforms.

Example launch caption:

“Sky Connect Inc. inakuletea … [Product Name] — suluhisho bora la kidijitali kwa mahitaji yako ya kila siku.”

Use this to introduce products to the public with excitement and brand energy.


3. Long-Term Strategy

Establish and monitor key performance metrics tailored to each product.

Example (SANA):

  • New users (daily, weekly, monthly) from marketing leads
  • Organic new users (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Engagement rate and conversion metrics

These metrics help us track growth, guide strategy shifts, and ensure data-driven decisions.

A. Social Media Visibility

  • Develop eye-catching, professional product ads — infographics and short videos.
  • Maintain active product accounts on major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Product Testimonies: Capture short clips of real users sharing their experiences.
  • Product How-Tos: Create quick tutorials on how to use specific features.
  • Product Owners Spotlight: Feature short interviews or clips of the product leads.
  • Product Milestones: Share progress updates (launches, feature updates, user milestones).
  • Product Merchandise: Distribute branded items (t-shirts, caps) through online contests or community events.
  • Engagement: Reply actively to comments. Maintain a friendly, human tone. Escalate important discussions to relevant business leads.
  • Community Targeting: Participate in local events to showcase products and connect with users.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Collaborate with trusted local social media personalities.
  • Performance Tracking: Use built-in insights (Meta, Google Analytics, etc.) and provide a weekly social media report per product.

B. SEO & Website Visibility

  • Identify and focus on target search keywords for each product.
  • Ensure all key pages are indexed and visible on Google.
  • Keep Google business and product listings accurate and updated.
  • Build a strong SEO foundation to improve website ranking.
  • Use analytics platforms to monitor traffic sources, lead conversions, and trends.
  • Provide a weekly SEO performance report per product.

C. Consistent Branding

  • Maintain a central collection of reusable design assets (logos, fonts, color codes, templates, etc.).
  • Develop and share a Brand Usage Guide to ensure visual and message consistency across all channels.
